Anger Management

6/13/2019

By Samantha Belford (age 9)

Have you ever felt as if you were about to explode but couldn’t? Well this is the information for you! I have a friend who l recently got in a fight with, a friend who’s name I can’t say for obvious reasons, but she knows how to get the better of me. Let’s just call her C.  When i give her something she calls it bribing, and i feel so angry i could die.

But l manage that anger by taking deep breaths people think taking deep breaths are lame”youthful” talk. But there are many ways to spice it up. Like imagining a scented candle and inhaling.

Fun Fact: if you imagine smelling something you will actually smell lt.

Think of what scent your candle is, then exhale -  blow it out.

Thanks for reading.

Wise words & great video from @TaraBrach. The shame tied to #PTSD keeps us in a shallow loop of pathogenic thinking. https://t.co/aXr0Bnc4fY
