Sonia Ahmadi, MA, MFT
Sonia Ahmadi is a Marriage and Family Therapist holding a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from California School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Northridge.
Trained and certified in Cultural Competency by The Clearview CME Institute, Sonia has received post-graduate training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, EFT, Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Treating Stress & Anxiety Disorders. Sonia has worked extensively with individuals and couples in both in-patient and out-patient community mental health settings. Her clinical experience has granted her the opportunity to view problems from a relational perspective while maintaining multicultural and international competency.
As your therapist, Sonia understands that reaching out for therapy is a challenging process and stays mindful of meeting you where you are on your journey of self-discovery. Sonia provides clients with specialized care by tailoring sessions to meet specific individual needs and honors every client’s individual experience in a non-anxious space where you feel empowered as you work towards building the strong foundation necessary to maintain a long-term rewarding relationships.
